Has anyone ever been asked about their education when applying for a loan??

MY boyfriend argues that a business degree will come in handy in the future when i get loans, because leanders are more likely to lend to someone with a business degree. I say i've never seen a loan applications tha asked about anyone's level of education. So who's right?

Has anyone ever been asked about their education when applying for a loan??

Some places might consider your past education in giving you a loan, but you certainly don't need to get a business degree just for the fact of getting loans easier later. Just keep your credit in good shape (don't do anything stupid) and you will be fine with getting loans in the future. A business degree is a great idea otherwise, but stick to what you love and what you know and you'll be best off.

Has anyone ever been asked about their education when applying for a loan??

Only if it's unsecured.

Has anyone ever been asked about their education when applying for a loan??

u r right

Has anyone ever been asked about their education when applying for a loan??

you are right, you dont need a dgree to get a loan

Has anyone ever been asked about their education when applying for a loan??

nope they dont care about that all you need is a good credit

Has anyone ever been asked about their education when applying for a loan??

That's absolutely ridiculous. Sure it would be nice to have a degree in accounting or business to know what loan officers are talking about when you go to take out loans. But no, that's not one of the qualification you need to get a loan. Having an equity is what you need to qualify for any loan. I don't even have a degree in accounting to know this. Good enough, yes?

Has anyone ever been asked about their education when applying for a loan??

I've never heard of that. And never been asked. That seems odd and not in compliance with Federal rules for fair assessment of loan applicants.

Has anyone ever been asked about their education when applying for a loan??

what the heck is your boyfriend talking about?

You are right, your boyfriend is nuckle head

Will they give me a loan???/?

Can you get a loan with a bank if you do not bank with them? i bank with Natwest but have applied for a loan with barclays will they consider my application.

Will they give me a loan???/?

Banks only care about your ability to repay a loan. They are fussed about whether you bank with them already.

Paying off debt with more debt is not a solution. You should get on a budget, get a second job if necessary, cut down on expenses and concentrate on paying off the debt without incurring more debt.

Good luck.

Will they give me a loan???/?

Thank you for your help Report It

Will they give me a loan???/?

Banks generally make a lot more money with loans than they do with passive savings and checking accounts. So not being a member of the bank will by no means limit your ability to get a loan there. You will be limited on proving your ability to repay the loan.

That isn't easy to answer. If you are trying to save money, you have to factor in what the cost (fees) are of the new loan applications and then compare the rates.

Will they give me a loan???/?

If you have a bad credit history still the loan market place is full of lenders who are ever willing to offer you a fresh loan. But you should be meeting some conditions laid down by the lenders. Loans for bad credit people are in fact easier to get then they were ever before, thanks mainly to cut-throat competition amongst the lenders. Lenders are giving loans to the bad credit people who have late payments, payment defaults, arrears, county court judgments or any credit problems. These loans are available for any purpose like home improvements, purchasing a new or used car of your choice, for wedding and holiday tour, debt consolidation or for paying child閳ユ獨 tuition fees.

Every lender in approving loans surely likes to see if the bad credit borrower has sufficient capacity to repay the loan in timely manner. If the borrower earns well, has regular bank balance, has been an employee for some years and has a convincing loan repayment plan in place, then the lenders do not usually hesitate much. So ensure that you have adequate repaying capacity before applying for a loan. Also, you should first check your credit report for any errors. If your credit score is too low then you would be charged a very high rate of interest. So it is advisable to firs pay off some easy debts to improved credit score and then you should apply for loan at better

Is it a normal procedure for a loan comapny to ask for an insurance premium to secure a loan?

I have been applying for a loan, I have noticed that some companies are asking for an insurance premium to secure my loan. The premium is quite substantial, antwhere from $700 - $1000

Is it a normal procedure for a loan comapny to ask for an insurance premium to secure a loan?

Usually only the online scammers are asking for these. Reputable lenders don't require an insurance premium upfront. Don't confuse with credit life or owner's insurance; scammers want a premium to %26quot;secure%26quot; a rate or a loan approval. Scammers; check them with BBB.

Is it a normal procedure for a loan comapny to ask for an insurance premium to secure a loan?

They will all ask for that info before the deal is closed. It's required.

Is it a normal procedure for a loan comapny to ask for an insurance premium to secure a loan?

You must be using online companies. Ive never heard of it. But then again I have only been doing mortgages for 15 years. Most states require that if you have to pay any upfront money they have to describe exactly what its for and it has to be refundable if not used.

I agree with the other poster its a scam. Call a few local mortgage companies. They will tell you the same.

Is it a normal procedure for a loan comapny to ask for an insurance premium to secure a loan?

in some states or provinces it is mandatory

Is it a normal procedure for a loan comapny to ask for an insurance premium to secure a loan?

I assume it is %26quot;credit life%26quot; insurance. A lot of lenders want you to get it (they get a kickback onthe premium) but in some states it is illegal to make it a requirement for a loan.

It is also overpriced, usually you can get simple term life insurance for less money and more coverage.

No, it's not.

Problems with loan broker?

After applying for a loan and then signing a credit agreement I have now been told that im not able to have this loan now.

Further to this I was told that i needed my property valuing and that this was just protocol and i would still get the loan.

After the valuation i was again told that as soon as the company received the valuers report they would send out the cheque for my loan.

Now i find out that my properties value hasnt met the target value it needed and i can no longer have the loan.

can they say that i would definately get the loan, then go back on their word or are they committing and offence by doing this? If they are in the wrong, who do I complain about, with me dealing with a broker?

Thanks :)

Problems with loan broker?

They are not in the wrong. You can not borrow more then the property is worth. That goes for everyone, not just you.

They committed no offenses, there is nothing to complain about.

Problems with loan broker?

the financial ombudsman, is the people to get in touch with, they will tell you exactly where you stand, they will even deal with it for you if you do.

Problems with loan broker?

anyone can say to a loan broker what they think their property is worth but until an appraiser makes an appraisal the loan is in abeyance... in other words its not a loan until all the components are there and the appraisal must be enough to cover with equity... for the loan

Problems with loan broker?

As a mortgage consultant we base our information on the clients estimate of home value, sometimes we want to do a loan but value is too low to actually lend money, also banks change their guidelines constantly so what I can do right now, I may not be able to do tomorrow. If value isnt there to do the loan meaning equity our hands are tied, no loan is guaranteed but as mortgage originators we all do our best to meet the clients needs, I am sorry your value has come down but that is no way the brokers fault, we do not control what the banks will buy (loans) nor do we control the values of your home, he/she should have told you based on the information you have given they should be able, nothing is set in stone until loan documents are notarized and your right to cancel has expired.
