I have been working in the same industry for almost a year now and I would like to apply for a loan of $1,000. I currently have little credit and no co-signer. Is there any way someone like me can obtain a loan of that amount right now?

It all depends on how bad of credit that you really have. It also depends on how much money you make and your work history. It never hurts to just go into a bank or credit union and apply. You might be suprised to find out that you qualify for more than you think. I work for a credit union and we have people all of the time apply for loans and get exactly what they want even without much credit. You have to start getting credit somehow, not to mention $1000 isn't to much of a credit risk for a bank or credit union. If you do get approved, just make sure that your payments are always on time and your loan officer will trust you with more of a credit risk next time. Hope that helps!
