I applied for a loan to open a business...I already have a location but I applied for the loan about 2 weeks ago and she called us this past Friday and made sure the a.p.r was fine and I had to sign some more papers....I also had to pay $350 to make an appt. with an appraiser for him to come and appraise the house.....she said once we took care of that we will take it from there......could that mean that I will be approved? ???? Im so nervous and I was wondering if some could put my mind at ease and give me some hope :) I knew someone who once applied and they just told him he was denied ...he never had to deal with appraiser ?!?

Based on your comments, it appears as if you are either refinancing your house or taking out a second mortgage to finance your startup business. If they are sending out an appraiser, it would mean that your credit score is ok and your credit history is ok also or they would not have sent out the appraiser even though you are paying for it. Now you just have to sit tight and hope that the house will appraise for the amount so that you can get you second approved.
